About
“Young people need faith practicing business leaders as examples to know how to deal with the difficulties of the world” - Luca Zocche
Growing up Luca’s father would always speak about Ken Langone, Co-Founder of Home Depot as an example of someone who not only studied at a community college and became a success but as someone who gave back to his faith due to his success.
He didn’t take the story so seriously that his father would repeat to him over and over until he started going to daily mass at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. There at the 07:30 daily mass he saw Ken Langone in the 3rd pew.
Realizing the importance of this he would tell friends at Old Saint Patrick’s Cathedral Youth Mass at 19:00, about this experience. Many of his friends would reply with shock and bewilderment. Luca realized that most of his friends thought that if they were in Ken Langone’s shoes they would stop going to mass as they felt that their life would be fulfilled and they would have no need for God anymore.
That’s when the idea of Fides Entrepreneurship began. To show that there are successful entrepreneurs with a lot of money who give even more thanks to God due to their success like Ken Langone. That ultimately Fides (Faith in Latin) is the most important thing one needs to succeed in business & entrepreneurship.
Since then our mission is to show that there are many successful business leaders, who are wealthy, who thank God for their financial success. In turn we aspire to form the next generation of Catholic Entrepreneurs.
